TLV SF1 Screwed Stainless Steel Filter and Separator

TLV SF1 Separator and filter for use on steam and other gases (non-toxic, non-flammable). The cyclone separator separates out and removes the condensate, which allows for the supply of dry steam, so no wet spots occur. Filter available in a range of mesh sizes. 5-layer sintered wire mesh filter is reusable and easy to clean.

Suggested filter element ratings:

• 0.5 μm min – Pharmaceutical grade steam
• 2.0 μm min – Culinary (Clean steam) grade steam
• 10.0 μm – General applications

In regular piping, steam carries large quantities of entrained material. With the following filters, improved heating efficiency and product quality can be obtained by removing dirt and scale. Ideal for bio-related industries and other applications requiring high quality steam.

The SF1 incorporates a cyclone separator which separates out condensate and dirt, which greatly reduces clogging of the filter and lengthens the time between cleanings and parts’ replacement cycles.

All stainless steel, with a compact, light-weight design. Easy to clean and inspect.
