Making Things EasySelecting the correct steam trap for your industrial application can not only be time consuming but sometimes overwhelming! To make things easy we group steam traps into three main categories: mechanical, thermostatic and thermodynamic.
Each trap we stock offers the highest level of energy conservation in its class, abbreviated as follows:
- FFT - Free Float with Thermostatic Air Vent
- FF - Free Float
- FF-LRV - Free Float with Lock Release Valve
- TD - Thermodynamic
- MPT - Mechanical Pump with Built-in Trap
- MP - Mechanical Pump
- BPT - Balanced Pressure Thermostatic
- BMT - Bimetal Thermostatic (Temperature Control Valve)
