The series HQ008 - HQ030 are rotary quarter turn electric actuators fitted with the addition of a failsafe battery backup module that operates in the event of a power failure. Specially designed for applications for use with ball and butterfly valves.

Equipped with many extras that are fitted as standard, this compact yet powerful failsafe unit offers repeatability with long life. Power supply in 110 and 220 volt.

This battery failsafe electric actuator features a sealed battery which has the capacity for five cycles following the loss of electrical power. The battery recharges automatically when re-energised. The actuator is configurable to either fail close or fail open upon loss of electrical power supply.
