Class 800 Heavy Duty Forged Steel Y Pattern Strainer
This class 800 bolted bonnet forged carbon steel strainer is used to provide screened filtration from the potential harmful effects caused by rust, particulates and debris in a pipeline. Dirt is often the main cause of damage, which ultimately leads to energy loss and a reduction in productivity of fluid systems. Easy to clean by removing the bonnet.
With effective filtration down to 20 mesh (920μm or 0.037”) it is available in forged steel and conforming to API 602 and ASME B16.34.
Offered in various end connections including threaded and socket weld for use with a wide range of applications including: Steam, Thermal Oil, Air, Gas and water.
Typical applications include: Trapping lines and stations, Valve protection, Condensate Lines, Before expensive plant equipment and Oil burner lines.
