Forged Steel Y Type Strainer Class 800

This class 800 forged carbon steel strainer is used to provide filtration from the potential harmful effects caused by particulates and debris in a pipeline. Dirt is often the main cause of damage, which ultimately leads to energy loss of fluid systems. The strainer offers protection down to 20 mesh (920μm or 0.037”).  

Available in forged steel and conforming to API 602 and ASME B16.34. Offered in various end connections for use with a wide range of applications including: - Steam, Thermal Oil, Air, Gas and water.

Can be fitted in horizontal and vertical downstream positions.

Typical applications include: Trapping lines and stations, Process Lines, Condensate Lines, Before expensive valves and plant equipment and Thermal Oil systems.

Typical industries include: Boiler Plant, Recycling facilities, Chemical industry, Steam Plant and Hospitals.
