Class 800 Forged Carbon Steel Globe Valve with Bolted Bonnet

Class 800 bolted bonnet forged carbon steel globe valve is used to provide isolation in pipelines and at the beginning and end of trapping stations. Economical yet reliable, this valve has a multitude of uses including throttling and semi accurate control of process fluids in high temperature and high-pressure applications.

The valve designed to API602 and tested to API598 has an outside screw and yolk with rising stem. The handwheel operates the globe valve for both isolation and for throttling applications.

Why use globe valves: these valves provide a positive tight shut off in the horizontal or vertical position for process fluids in pipelines. They also offer a small amount of control and are used to throttle steam, gas or liquids. Easy to operate and the preferred choice over ball valves by engineers to isolate trapping stations.

Typical applications include: Trapping lines and stations, Isolation, Condensate Lines, Before expensive plant equipment and Oil burner lines.

Typical industries include: Boiler Plant fuel line, Recycling facilities, Chemical industry, Steam Plant, Hospitals, schools and HVAC
