Class 800 Forged Carbon Steel Gate Valve with Bolted Bonnet

Class 800 bolted bonnet forged carbon steel gate valve are designed to operate in a fully open or closed position and used to provide isolation (not for throttling) in pipelines. Economical and reliable, this valve has a multitude of uses for high temperature and high-pressure applications. This valve is particularly suited for steam, mineral oil and viscous fluids

When the valve is open, the media will flow with minimal turbulence and low pressure drop through the valve. Our forged steel gate valves are available with bolted bonnets and body, with the stem packings in graphite. The rugged construction of this forged gate valve provides an extended life of safe operation. Metal-to-metal seating (13CR+STL6) surfaces accommodate the widest range of pressure-temperature conditions.

The valve is designed to API602 and has an outside screw and yolk with rising stem. The handwheel operates the gate valve for both isolation applications only.
